Step 5: Choose Contacts

You have two options of importing contacts:

From Outlook:

First, you should export your contacts from Outlook into a CSV file, which will allow you to provide your contact information in the correct format.

Once your list is complete, click on the "browse" button and select the CSV file on your computer that you wish to upload, then click the "import” button.

From a spreadsheet:

Create your own spreadsheet of contacts (i.e. Microsoft Excel) and save it as .CSV file. Next find the file on your computer and using the “Import” feature import the contacts.

Note: If you wish to create your own spreadsheet of contacts, the spreadsheet must contain column headings and the minimum info required is the contact’s email address.

For your contacts to begin receiving newsletters, they must first respond to an "opt-in" request which is sent to the email address you have provided.

You may also choose to enter a contact one at time by clicking on “I’ll add contacts one at a time to Announcer Pro” which will open a new interface where you can add contacts.

To add a contact, enter all available information into the fields provided. The only required field is the email address.

To add the contact, click "Add".

From this interface you can always go back to the previous one if you choose to import contacts. To flip back to the previous interface where you can import contacts click on “Import from Outlook or file on my computer.

When you are done adding or importing contacts, click "Next".

Click “Previous” to go back to the previous step.
