Customize Newsletter

The editor is similar in function to other WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) editors.

The toolbar displayed above the newsletter provides you with the following functions, from left to right:

• Save: saves the current copy of the newsletter you are working with.

• Add text block: clicking this tool adds a new text field. Click on the new field to enter text. You can also resize and drag this new field around to a desired location. Click on the "x" in the bottom-right corner of the selected text field to delete it. Your templates come with a number of pre-formatted text fields. You can edit, move, resize or delete these fields in the same way.

• Add an image: clicking this option opens the royalty-free image library, which will appear to the left. You can search through the image library using contextual keywords (e.g. .searching for "kitten" will display pictures of kittens). To add a picture, simply drag the thumbnail image form the library to your template. You can resize, move and delete images in the same fashion as text boxes. You can also upload an image from your computer by using the "browse…" button.

• Undo: undoes your last action.

• Redo: re-applies your last action.

• Bold/Italics/Underline/Color: these buttons are only active while editing a text field. Allows you to make text bold, italicized, or underlined. The color button allows you to select a different color for your text.

• Hyperlink: allows you to create a link to another website. Only usable in text fields.

• Bulleted list: allows you to create a bulleted list in a text field.

• Create a heading: allows you to create a headline in a text field. Headlines use a slightly larger font size compared to regular text.

• Spell check: allows you to check for spelling errors in the selected text field.

Click "save" to save your changes.

When you are finished editing your newsletter click "Next" to proceed to the next step.
