Creating a basic autoresponder

If you already have created at least one autoresponder, this feature is accessed in the following manner:

 

  1. Click on "Manage my automatic reply messages"

  2. Click on "I want to create a new autoresponder"

  3. You will be presented with the basic autoresponder setup

 

If you have not created any autoresponders before, when you chose to manage your automatic reply messages, you will be immediately presented with the basic autoresponder set-up.

 

To create a basic autoresponder, simply type in the text you want to be sent in your automatic reply and click on "Ok". Your basic autoresponder will send this message in response to any incoming email. After you have created your basic autoresponder, you will be taken to a listing of all your currently active and inactive autoresponders. By default, newly created autoresponders are active.

 

If you would like to create a more sophisticated autoresponder, such as one which responds only to certain keywords, click on the "Customize..." button located in the basic autoresponder set-up page.

 

 

Note:  autoresponders do not work if you have set up email forwarding.
